JOURNALIST/PRODUCER

The weekly sailing updates was launched in January 2009. To date more than 500 shows were produced and aired on various media distribution.

Mainly focused on international regattas, it is presented in French / English and dubbed into German.

The Journal de la Voile (JDV) is broadcast on LEQUIPE since September 2011, in addition to its international broadcast as "NEWS" on NAUTICAL Channel and on the Internet as DesTopNews.

Sebastien performed ‘LIVE’ the role of commentator and expert analyst for the host at the Louis Vuitton Trophy, the Extremes Sailing Series, the Audi MedCup to name a few

He was ‘technical adviser’ for the organization team during the 33rd America’s Cup as well as the host/presenter for the ‘Valencia Daily’. The latter was one of the key features to promote the America’s Cup daily over the net.

Since graduating from the Australian College of Journalism, Sébastien has built an extensive network of international media contacts. He has been published in England, USA, Sweden, France, Italy, Australia and New Zealand as well as working as a host producer for several TV networks.

PROFESSIONAL SAILOR

Sebastien has an impressive sporting record including five America’s Cup campaigns, five world titles, three European titles, a victory in the infamous Sydney-Hobart 98, an Olympic campaign 92in Flying Dutchman and countless National titles.

As Tactician, he has sailed with World’s Class skippers including Russell Coutts, Paul Cayard, Knut Frostad, Thomas Coville, Luc Gellusseau or Pierre Mas to name a few.

VIRTUAL REGATTA PROMOTER

Sébastien is one of the internet sailing game’s promoters called Virtual Regatta a game developed by Many Players.

Virtual Regatta has fast become a phenomenon with 340 000 players competing for three months during the Vendee Globe 2009 and 220 000 competing in the last Volvo Ocean Race. The game is now one of the largest sailing promotional mediums reaching the wider global audience.

Le journal d’information nautique hebdomadaire a été lancé en Janvier 2009.

A ce jour plus de 500 émissions ont été produites et diffusées sur les différents supports de distributions. Principalement axé sur les régates internationales, l’émission est présentée en français/anglais et doublée en allemand.

Diplômé de l'École Australienne de journalisme, Sébastien écrit également pour plusieurs magazines spécialisés notamment en Angleterre, USA, Suède, France, Suisse, Italie, Australie et Nouvelle Zélande.

Sébastien a participé à cinq campagnes pour la Coupe de l’América entre 1993 et 2010.

Tacticien des meilleurs skippers mondiaux comme Russell Coutts, Paul Cayard, Knut Frostad, Thomas Coville, Luc Gellusseau ou Pierre Mas, son palmarès inclus la Volvo Ocean Race, une victoire à la Sydney-Hobart 98, cinq titres mondiaux, trois titres européens et une multitude de titres nationaux.

Sébastien est un des promoteurs/animateurs du jeu de régates virtuelles par internet développé par Many Players.
